Please join us at Casa Prado on Thursday October 17 for Lyceum Lima 2019. Registration will begin at 8 am, with the first sessions kicking off at 9:00 am. From then until mid-afternoon, we’ll host a diverse series of presentations from respected technology partners, geoscience professionals, and Seequent employees (with coffee and lunch networking breaks between sessions).
Then, we’ll invite you to our Solutions Kiosks – where you can learn more about Seequent solutions and provide direct, in-person feedback to our product specialists.
We’ll be rounding off the day with drinks, appetisers, and informal networking.

Nick is an innovative and strategically focused professional with 15 years’ experience advising on and implementing international sales and marketing initiatives. He has extensive experience in leading global teams and operating in cross-cultural environments. Enthusiastic and creative, Nick has a passion to determine company direction and implement growth through business and technology-led innovation.
Prior to this he spent 14 years with Siemens Enterprise Communications (now Unify) in a variety of roles including VP Strategic Business Development and VP Strategic Portfolio Integration, following several years at IBM Canada as an IS systems, operational team leader.
He started his career as a Project Geologist and worked on numerous geological exploration projects in Canada and Guyana. Lawton gained a B.Sc. (hons) in Geological Sciences from Ontario’s Queen’s University.
Ignacio was previously the Regional Director for the Latin America region for Seequent. He is currently the Director of Geostatistics, leading the development and administration of the execution of the business plan for this portfolio.
She has previously worked with seismic data processing in the Geophysical and Western-Geco / Schlumberger Promon as well as Assistant Researcher in the National Laboratory of Scientific Computation. Telma holds a master's in physics with a specialisation in geophysics.
Likewise, in initial stage and development projects, resources estimation in short and mid-term, 3D geological modeling, audits, resources estimation and mineral reserves (according to JORC and CIM), preparation of reports under the Canadian standard NI 43-101 for disseminated deposits, epithermal silver / gold deposits and base metal deposits. Since 2015 he has been the Principal Consultant at SRK in Peru..
He has also worked as Executive Chairman of Tironi & De la Flor, Program Officer of the Ford Foundation and International Economist of the First National Bank of Chicago. He has been President of the Executive CADE, the Education CADE and the PERUMIN business meeting. He is the Director of different non-governmental organizations linked to educational and CSR issues. He has published three books and academic articles in different international journals.
He has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and International Relations from Yale University. He is also a doctoral candidate in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
He has experience across all stages of geophysical projects, from survey design, field measurements, data processing, modeling, data analysis, geophysical consulting, development of geophysical methods. As well as experience with over 92 own geophysical instruments and 13 field brigades, with potential, electric, electromagnetic and seismic field methods.
He holds a Bachelor´s degree of Science (BSc) in Geology and Geophysics and a Master of Science (MSc) in Geological and Geophysical Engineering.
He has extensive experience in brownfield and greenfield exploration for gold, silver and base metals using geophysical and geochemical methods from the development of GIS to drilling and solid experience in exploration, planning, development and production in underground mining.
Jesús holds an international specialisation in resource calculation and a Masters in Geometallurgy.
He is currently the Modeling Chief, Orcopampa in Compañía de Minas Buenaventura. He was previously Modeling Chief, Julcani and Modeling Geologist, UEA Tambomayo also for the Compañia de Minas Buenaventura.
