Key things you need to know:
- As of December 31, 2023, you have entered the self-serve support phase.
You will still have access to online support resources and upgrade to the most current release. - Subscription licences for Target for ArcMap are no longer available for purchase.
- Support & Maintenance agreements are no longer available for renewal.
- Companion licenses for Target for ArcMap are no longer available to users purchasing Target for ArcPro.

Why are you retiring Target for ArcMap?
Seequent is sunsetting Target for ArcMap to coincide with the announcement from Esri that ArcMap will be retired. ArcGIS 10.8.1 is the current release of ArcMap and will continue to be supported until March 01, 2026.
Is renewal of Target for ArcMap Subscriptions / Support and Maintenance still available?
As of January 2024, we are no longer offering renewal options for Target for ArcMap subscriptions or Support and Maintenance services. This change affects all customers, regardless of the type of Esri product licensing they hold, including:
- Those licensed for Esri’s ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro who wish to renew their Target for ArcMap subscription.
- Those with an ArcMap-only license interested in renewing their Target for ArcMap subscription.
- Those who hold a perpetual license for Target for ArcMap and are looking to renew their Support and Maintenance.
Will you be doing any further development such as new or enhanced features or bug fixes for Target for ArcMap?
No. There will be no additional development on Target for ArcMap from this point forward.
Are there plans to remove Target for ArcMap from the installer?
Oasis montaj 2023.2 Installer no longer contains the Target for ArcMap installer. You will need to use the last available release of the Geosoft product suite where the installer included Target for ArcMap to reinstall.
Will Seequent certify Target for ArcMap on new operating systems or new versions of Esri?
No. There will not be any additional certifications or validation testing on new supported environments for Target for ArcMap.
Can I submit a request for Target for ArcMap support to the Seequent Global Technical Support Team?
No. Support requests will not be processed as you are now on self-service support.
