Oasis montaj Processing

Oasis montaj Processing extends Oasis montaj with tools for processing and preparing geophysical survey data once acquisition-stage checks are complete, and before interpretation or modelling begins.

It applies structured processing workflows—such as corrections, filtering, transformations, and gridding—so datasets are technically ready for interpretation or modelling. Processing focuses on preparing data for analysis, rather than interpreting results or building geological models.
Processing is used with airborne, UAV, ground, and marine survey data and works with line, point, and gridded datasets.
The Processing extension requires an active Oasis montaj licence and is available as a 12-month named or shared subscription.

Structured processing after acquisition QA/QC

Apply consistent processing workflows after acquisition-stage checks are complete, ensuring datasets are technically ready for downstream use.

Noise reduction and wavelength analysis

Reduce noise and isolate wavelength content relevant to analysis using established filtering and transformation techniques.

Grids, profiles, and derived datasets for interpretation

Generate grids, profiles, and derived datasets that support interpretation workflows across multiple geophysica methods.

Preparation for modelling or inversion

Prepare data for modelling or inversion without performing interpretation, maintaining a clear separation between processing and analysis activities.

Batch and repeatable processing

  • Apply the same processing steps across large datasets or multiple surveys

  • Handle data consistently across staged acquisition campaigns

Corrections and reductions (gravity and moving‑platform gravity)

  • Apply gravity corrections and reductions, including drift, tide, free‑air, and Bouguer calculations

  • Apply terrain corrections where required

  • Apply moving‑platform gravity corrections, including navigation and acceleration effects

Filtering and wavelength analysis

  • Apply 1D and 2D filtering workflows used in gravity, magnetic, and EM processing

  • Filter data in both spatial and wavenumber (FFT) domains

  • Use mathematical expressions to apply corrections and transformations consistently

Gridding, draping, and transformations

  • Grid and interpolate line and point data

  • Perform coordinate system and datum transformations

  • Drape profiles or grids to reference surfaces and apply height continuation

EM and radiometric data preparation

  • Prepare EM datasets, including array noise handling and derived parameter calculation

  • Process frequency‑domain helicopter EM data

  • Prepare radiometric datasets as part of broader survey processing workflows.
