Seequent’s excellence in mining technology innovation has been recognised in the 2023 Mining Technology Excellence Awards. The awards celebrate the greatest achievements and innovations in the mining industry.
Judged by a panel comprising industry leaders, analysts and Mining Technology’s editorial team, Seequent is delighted to scoop not one but two awards this year.

The first award recognises Seequent’s Innovation in Data Management, with MX Deposit,  our drillhole data management solution that simplifies how drillhole and point sample data is collected, managed and shared within the cloud.

The second award, for Innovation in 3D Modelling, recognises SLOPE3D, our slope stability tool that used to asses risk and increase safety for pit slopes and tailings storage facilities. SLOPE3D was launched earlier this year and provides a practical approach for capturing slope failure mechanisms with the most up-to-date research on 3D stability analysis techniques.
Graham Grant, CEO, Seequent, said: ‘Seequent is delighted to win two Mining Technology Excellence Awards. Mining is a hugely complex industry and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find and extract new resources. Subsurface understanding is key, and our technology is playing a pivotal role in building that ore body knowledge.’
