In January 2019 Bellevue Gold Ltd was picked as the only Australian high conviction ‘Top Explorer Pick’ by Macquarie Research. The company accomplished this after having successfully delineated a high-grade inferred resource of 1 million ounces of gold at 12.4 g/t gold last year at its Bellevue Gold Project in Western Australia.
In November 2018 Bellevue implemented Imago with the goal of improving core tray photography quality and making the images available to the geology team in the Imago viewing platform. By early 2019 Bellevue Chief Geologist, Sam Brooks provided this feedback:
- Imago has transformed our geology process. It streamlined the image capture process, with automatic labelling and cropping to downhole registered images. The potential for errors and loss of images was eliminated.
- The Imago cloud library provides an easily accessible interface to our core photos. It allows much more efficient modelling and geological interpretation when combined with the logging data from the geologists.
