Leapfrog Geo Remote Advanced Structural Modelling Tools and Workflows This course will provide you with a more advanced understanding of Leapfrog Geo by addressing key structural modelling and faulting workflows and functionality in greater depth.

All Leapfrog trainers are qualified geoscientists/engineers and class sizes are kept small to create a productive learning environment.

Duration: 3 x 4hr sessions (run over 3 days = 12hr)
Maximum Capacity: 6 Participants
Prerequisites:  Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals or similar

Who is it suitable for?

  • Experienced Leapfrog users that wish to expand their skills to create more complex models.
  • Those who have completed the Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals course (or have comparable skill level)

What will the course cover?

  • Review of key fundamental data preparation and modelling concepts
  • Stereonets in Leapfrog
  • Form Interpolants – what are they and how to use them
  • The Structural surface tool for modelling folded stratigraphy
  • Structural trends
  • Considerations for incorporating faults in projects and models
  • Adding and controlling faults within geological models
  • Fault interactions
  • Workflow possibilities for modelling with “finite” faults
  • Data and model management and collaboration workflows with Central
  • Specific individual project questions – time allowing

What take-aways will I get from the course?

  • Access to Seequent Learning’s comprehensive and complementary online courses
  • Common workflow ‘cheat sheets’
  • Certificate of completion
