Lyceum 2021 | Together Towards Tomorrow

Infrastructure design and construction in Hong Kong typically adopt a project-based process that is highly siloed and labour intensive.

But successful delivery of construction projects now demands effective communication of the geological and geotechnical conditions through seamless ground information management and transfer.

The demand for Level 2 Building Information Modelling (BIM) approaches on engineering projects have driven large-scale digitisation of the construction industry in recent years. This presentation will show how a BIM-based framework provides better risk management throughout a project lifecycle through digitalisation in Leapfrog and ISO standardisation.
