ARANZ Geo (now Seequent), a world leader in the interpretation and visualisation of geological data for the mining, environmental, and renewable energy industries, has been named a finalist in the New Zealand International Business Awards 2016 in the Best Medium Business - $10M to $50M category.

The company’s solutions turn complex data into geological understanding, providing timely insight for executives and geologists alike, to enable critical time-sensitive investment decisions that reduce risk, cost and time, and extract value.

Maloney says, “We’ve continued to buck the trend in the mining industry and experience rapid growth despite a global downturn. We’ve also broadened our focus into the environmental and renewable energy sectors and we’re seeing very promising results.”

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the New Zealand International Business Awards which are run by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) to celebrate Kiwi success on the world stage. The winners of the awards will be announced on November 24.
