The value of 3-D models as a communication and planning tool in Geothermal Projects
20 October 2020 @ 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm BST
Join Chelsea Cervantes, 3D modelling expert and geologist at Reykjavík Geothermal, a geothermal development company based in Iceland to hear the value that 3D models have as a planning and communication tool in geothermal projects.
Chelsea will demonstrate how the communication of the subsurface and the collaboration of investors, local communities and environmental and government bodies through 3D visualisation can aid and facilitate decision making as it progresses through to the drilling and production phases.
Book your place to understand further how 3D visualisation is helping to mitigate risk by enabling stakeholders to gain perspective and understanding of where and what the risks may be, based on the concentration of data within the project
Chelsea holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Calgary, Canada, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy with an academic focus on geothermal energy from the Iceland School of Energy – Reykjavík University. She has been involved with modelling geothermal prospects from various countries including Ethiopia, Mexico, the Caribbean and Columbia.
In case you can’t attend the live session, register and we will send you a recording.
