This webinar will briefly review the theory of the Modified Cam Clay material model. Step-by-step instructions for calibrating the material model and identifying its input parameters based on laboratory data from a triaxial test will be provided.

The SIGMA/W simulation results will then be compared to the corresponding laboratory data to evaluate the reliability of the material model implemented in SIGMA/W as well as the accuracy of the proposed calibration procedure.
