Leapfrog Geo – Introduction to Structural Modelling
3 November 2020 @ 9:00 am to 4 November 2020 @ 1:00 pm AWST
This online course will provide you with the fundamental skills to get the most from Leapfrog Geo’s structural tools.
Looking to take your Leapfrog Geo skills to the next level?
Join us in this instructor-led remote course geared towards existing Leapfrog Geo users. We’ll take you beyond the modelling basics to introduce you to the structural modelling tools within Leapfrog Geo.
We will review both the tools, and the workflows available to make sense of all the structural data gathered with the goal of producing better geological models.
In this 4-part exercise we will review the Leapfrog stereonet functionality, create and learn how to use a form interpolant, utilise the structural surface tool to model folded stratigraphy and finish up by applying a structural trend to an intrusion.
This course also includes data and model management and collaboration with Central.
Leapfrog Geo Fundamentals is a pre-requisite for this course.
This course will be delivered as 4-hour sessions run over the course of 2 days (2 x 4hr = 8 hr total).
To make the most of this course, please ensure you have a stable internet connection, and a secondary screen is highly recommended.
