James Edwards, Senior Project Geologist at Seequent
James is a geologist with over ten years’ experience in industry, primarily in mineral exploration and resource estimation. He started his career exploring epithermal and porphyry systems through Turkey, before moving to Namibia to work on VMS systems.
He spent several years in Australia in the Iron ore sector including a stint as a resource geologist before returning to the UK. His experience in the field has ranged from green fields through to resource definition work in production environments. This has led to a wealth of knowledge in exploration techniques and modelling different mineralisation systems. James joined Seequent in 2019.
He is an expert Leapfrog user and in his current role as a Senior Project Geologist he is involved with training, developing specific workflows through project assistance and providing technical support to users across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
