Want to maximise your operational efficiency and reduce your risk by trying resource estimation the Leapfrog way?
Join us in this instructor-led remote course to learn the fundamental concepts and tools necessary to get you going, including numeric data analysis, defining a domain, variography, variable orientation, producing robust estimates, an optional KNA (kriging neighbourhood analysis) workflow, calculations, filters, validating and reporting, the Leapfrog way. This course also includes data and model management and collaboration with Central, and model sharing and communication with View.
Registration includes complimentary access to Leapfrog Edge for the duration of the course. This course will be delivered as 4-hour sessions run over the course of 4 days (4 x 4hr = 16 hr total). To make the most of this course, please ensure you have a stable internet connection, and a secondary screen is highly recommended. To ensure a quality training experience for all participants, courses are Kept small.

Peter Oshust, Senior Project Geologist at SeequentPeter is a geologist with nearly 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and the mining industry. For much of this time, he focussed on mineral resource estimation for various commodities including diamonds, base metals, and precious metals in a range of deposit styles and environments in North America, Asia, and Africa.
Notably, he spent eight years with BHP at the Ekati Diamond Mine and nine years at Wood plc, formerly Amec Foster Wheeler, in the Mining & Metals Consulting group. Peter has been at Seequent since October 2018 as a Senior Project Geologist in the technical services group based in Vancouver where he contributes to sales, training, and technical support, especially for the Edge block modelling extension in Leapfrog Geo.
